Intro to Veil: Expressive Flow and Grace Discover the magic of veil dancing as we explore graceful traveling steps, turns, sultry wraps, and seamless transitions. More than an extension of your arms, the veil becomes a reflection of your spirit, an expression of your emotions and your dance. Learn to follow the music, slow down your movements, and captivate your audience with the mesmerizing flow and beauty of swirling veil work. Through technique and artistry, you and the veil will move as one. Silk veil recommended. A limited number of veils may be available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis. “Na Tutua Heleui” Halloween Hula Choreography Workshop w/Laila

Let's celebrate the spirit of Halloween with a unique Hawaiian twist in this hula workshop. In this workshop you will learn proper hula technique, terminology, and a full hula choreography to “Na Tutua Heleui” by Kama Hopkins! All level welcome! Attendees will have the option to perform this choreography in our “Night of the Wicked” Showcase on Sunday, October 25th at Lorraine's Dance Studio. If you would like to perform this in our Night of the Wicked show, rehearsals will be determined at a later date (in person only) and the mandatory dress rehearsal will be on Sunday, October 18th.
